ASN is not a salvage yard and carries absolutely no inventory. Instead, Architectural Antiques Services is a national virtual yard, bringing your project wish list personally to all of the Architectural Salvage Yards and Warehouses all over the country.
What kinds of inventory items are available?

These items are in yards and warehouses all over the United States and Canada, along with surprising items we all thought extinct. ASN can help you find where they’re hiding. Let your imagination go wild.
How do we get started?
We start by talking about your project, about the look you are trying to accomplish. We then create a wish list, and take it to all of the appropriate warehouses in your local area or in the whole country, depending on the item and your geographic preference. Based on the wish list, the providers will get back to us with the photos and specifics of all the wonderful heritage items which are available.
Should I wait to contact you until my drawings are done?
No. Actually, contact me as soon as you start any serious preliminary planning. This is called the conceptual stage of the architectural process, while the vision is fresh, while the lines being drawn on paper are still experimental and full of possibility. This is the best time to begin to explore the kinds of Architectural Salvage available so that you can discover if the look you love is out there. Chosen pieces can then be worked in very appropriately to the evolving drawings, with an eye to symmetry, style and “the look” The hunt for architectural salvage often inspires the drawings and the drawings often inspire the search.
What if I want to sell an architectural piece or even a whole building?
The National Network is at your service, whether you’re buying or selling. It’s the same process. Architectural Salvage Network will work with you to create a presentation of the old building, antique building materials or architectural salvage you wish to market and will then get it to all of the purveyors who may be interested. We will gather a report of interested buyers or rescuers and make choices from there. ASN can help you to arrange a careful deconstruction of an old building if needed.
